Christmas 1990 The Plough Inn, Foston on the Wolds Oh dear, oh dear, oh dear. Another delve into the archives has unearthed these little gems. Showing many familiar faces, plus a few you'd probably like to forget ( no names mentioned ) at around the tender age of 20. The story goes like this, during the late 80's/ early 90's there was always a healthy ( figure of speech) bunch of lads to be found taking advantage of the various Saturday night happy hours available around town. On some occasions, we ventured further afield, sometimes spontaneous ( Wids' trip to Blackpool ), the trip to Malton resulting in police escort back to east Yorkshire, sometimes planned. The photos below show one of the latter and appear to have been taken around Christmas time at what must have been our Christmas meal ( what a civilised bunch. ) There are loads more but unfortunately, as the night wore on, the quality of the images suffered - shit camera ( the contributors words, not mine ) so on this occasion, you miss out on the delights of seeing young Grangey and although the picture quality of the Brigham brothers was good, it could not be published as it was considered to be too scarey.
